Kerry Williams -
Volunteer of the Year:
Recognising an individual making a significant impact in the community.
Kerry is an extremely kind, caring, and very loving woman who goes above and beyond for anyone and everyone and never expects anything in return. She raises money for people in need and holds fundraising events for good causes, schools and community members. She has raised funeral money for community members, toys for christmas for parents that may be struggling to buy for their children. Kerry collected uniforms then invited people to come and take what they needed. She also volunteers as a community promoter at ACE and runs a Facebook group to help people know what is going on in the area.

Tiggy Eastaff -
School Volunteer of the Year:
Recognising a parent, teacher, family member or associate making a significant contribution to a local school.
Tiggy volunteers her time helping with Hywel Dda Primary’s Community Shop. ‘Hywel’s Hut’ -’ collecting and sorting food, welcoming customers and sharing ideas. Tiggy is also one of our “Parent voices” for Hywel Dda Primary and also contributes to the Learning Partnership Board with passion, her ideas for a better Ely & Caerau. Tiggy has also helped with a community fun day and with the organising Summer and Christmas school fayres. I have nominated Tiggy for this award because she truly is an asset to Hywel Dda Primary, and is passionate about Ely & Caerau. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and she’ll take on any task presented to her. She manages to do all of this alongside attending Adult courses in school and being a mum to 4 children.
