Volunteer Week 2026 – 1st – 7th June
Volunteers’ Week is the annual UK-wide celebration of volunteering. ACE – Action in Caerau and Ely will be highlighting some of the opportunities that people give up their time to share their knowledge and experience and help our local community.
During this year’s Volunteer Week we’ll be highlighting the volunteer work at Diana Garden, the CAER Heritage Centre, our partner ‘Grow Cardiff”, and more. Check out our ACE Facebook Group page – for posts during Volunteer Week.

Between the 1st June and the 30th June, Action in Caerau and Ely want you to nominate an individual or community group who you think deserves recognition for their volunteering work.
The Ely and Caerau Community Awards gives us all the chance to thank and reward all of the volunteers, community groups and organisations, who make a difference in the Ely and Caerau area.
