ACE – Our Place: Dusty Forge & Caer Heritage and Learning Centre
Christmas Closure 2025
ACE will close both Our Place: Dusty Forge and Caer Heritage and Learning Centre from 4.00pm on Tuesday 23rd December and will reopen on Monday 5th January 2026.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We are offering an extended Crisis Hour on Tuesday 23rd Dec, between 9.00am to 3.00pm, for emergency fuel and food vouchers, and to coincide with the last local Foodbank distribution in Cathays before Christmas. The last Foodbank distribution in Ely is Monday 22nd Dec. (See Cardiff Foodbank information below.)
Crisis Hour will re-open Monday 5th Jan 10am, and will resume the following week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
For those needing help with energy, we will need to see a picture of the remaining balance on your meter in order to process claims. Bring this picture – as claims cannot be processed without it.
ACE Health & Wellbeing services will be unavailable from 4pm on Tuesday 23rd December until Monday 5th January.
If you are looking for advice or support in relation to your health or mental wellbeing, please contact your GP or the 111 service. In case of an emergency please call 999.
