The Ely and Caerau Community Awards gives us all the chance to thank and reward all of the volunteers, community groups and organisations for their incredible support. It has given an opportunity for community members to do the same by nominating volunteers, community groups and organisations in Ely and Caerau that made a difference to them and or their community. Thank you to C3SC, our partners on this project and to WCVA for funding us so we were able to make this evening happen.

Ely and Caerau Local Volunteering Nominations were submitted in June and winners chosen by a panel of wonderful local organisation reps in August. 

Thank you to Chris Miller from Grow Cardiff, Emma Rank from HMMPS, Kailee from C3SC, Becky and Taela from ACE. We received 35 nominations for the 6 categories. It was a lovely and hard task for the panel to choose winners as all the nominations were amazing, and they said it was an absolute pleasure to read about all the amazing work that happens in the area.

For the next 3 weeks we will celebrate each of the winners as well as celebrating all the fantastic nominations.
