Mae’r rhaglen yn ganmoliaethus â gweithgareddau Cymunedau’n Gyntaf trwy ddarparu cefnogaeth i unigolion sydd yn ddi-waith o fewn Clystyrau i ddychwelyd i’r byd gwaith, ac yn ymgysylltu  â’r rhai sydd yn bell o’r farchnad llafur.

Mae gyda’r rhaglen ffocws penodol o leihau’r nifer yr unigolion 16-24 oed sydd ddim yn derbyn addysg, cyflogaeth neu hyfforddiant, ac i gynyddu cyflogadwyedd y rhai bu’n anactif yn economaidd neu’n ddi-waith dros dro sydd angen cefnogaeth ychwanegol i gael gafael ar gyflogaeth.

Bu GCT / Cymunedau’n Gyntaf Gorllewin Caerdydd yn cynnal Cymunedau am Waith ers Ebrill 2016, ac mae’r tîm yn cynnwys Swyddog Cymorth Dosbarthiad, Mentor Oedolion, Mentor Ieuenctid, Cynghorwr Ymgysylltiad Rhieni a ddau Gynghorwr Ymgysylltiad Cymunedol. Mae cyfranogi yn y rhaglen hon ar sail wirfoddol, ond mae yna lawer o fuddion os ydych chi’n ddewis i’w wneud. Mae yna gymorth ar gael i’ch helpu chi gyda’ch anghenion unigryw i ddychwelyd i’r byd gwaith, gan gynnwys ysgrifennu CV, chwilio am swyddi, hyfforddiant sy’n ymgysylltiedig â’r byd gwaith a gydag unrhyw rhwystron rydych chi’n wynebu bydd yn gallu eich atal rhag darganfod gwaith. Os nad ydych chi’n gymwys ar gyfer y rhaglen Cymunedau am Waith fe fydden ni’n eich rhoi chi mewn cysylltiad gyda sefydliadau eraill all eich helpu.

Communities for Work is a Welsh Government Programme, supported by the European Social Fund (ESF) working closely with Communities First and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).  The programme is complementary to Communities First activity providing support for unemployed people within Clusters to return to work, proactively engaging with those furthest from the labour market.

The programme has a distinct focus on reducing the number of 16-24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training and increasing the employability of economically inactive and long term unemployed adults who require additional support into employment.

ACE / Cardiff West Communities First has hosted Communities for Work since April 2016,  the team consists of a Triage Support Officer, Adult Mentor, Youth Mentor, Parent Engagement Adviser and two Community Engagement Advisers.  Participation in the programme is voluntary but there are a lot of benefits to you if you do.  Support is available to help you with your individual needs to return to work, including CV writing, job search, and work related training and with any barriers that you may be facing finding work.  If we find you are not eligible for the Communities for Work programme we can put you in touch with other organisations who can help.
