If your toaster or TV’s on the blink or your buggy\ trolley wheels are wobbly come on down to the Dusty’s next repair cafe on Saturday 28 August! At this pop-up event our fantastic small team of volunteer fixers will also be on hand to check out small woodwork and ceramics repairs and basic IT\ phone problems (don’t forget your charger!). PLEASE NOTE: our textile fixer is taking a well-earned break before tackling any more beloved soft toy repairs – she’ll be back at our Saturday 25 September repair cafe – when our bike fixer will also return. We’re delighted that our pop-up events are getting very popular, so to give everyone a fair opportunity we’re now asking all our customers to bring MAXIMUM two items – and depending on demand we’ll guarantee to check out at least one item. To avoid disappointment we recommend that customers arrive as soon after 10am as possible and we’ll close our doors at 12noon to new customers so that our fixers have time to complete their work without rushing. To keep everyone safe please bring your face covering and our friendly hosts will explain current social distancing arrangements at the Dusty Forge and offer light refreshments while you wait.
