Our Dusty Forge repair cafe will ‘pop up’ again on Saturday 26th March starting at 10.00am. So if you’ve got a wonky trolley\ buggy, or if your tablet\ laptop’s on the blink then one of our volunteer fixers will check it out (don’t forget your charger!). Our textile fixers repair clothing, bags and soft toys – and our new fixer can also repair knitted items with small holes eaten by moths or unravelling at the cuff.
We don’t have a bike fixer this time but he’ll be back next month! Our free fixing service is becoming very popular, so come early to avoid disappointment and bring a maximum of 2 items and we’ll check out your priority item. We welcome last customers at 12noon latest so that our fixers can finish by 1.00pm without working under pressure.
As always, we offer a warm and friendly welcome with free refreshments while you wait your turn in our socially distanced cafe – don’t forget your mask! And if you know anyone who might be interested in joining our small team of friendly volunteers fixers do let us know via daveh@aceplace.org and we’ll get in touch…
Our pop-up repair cafe runs at the Dusty on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10am to 12:30pm
