The Dusty Forge repair cafe pops up on Saturday 22 July starting at 10.00am with ‘last orders’ by 12noon and finishing by 1.00pm. 

Our team of friendly volunteer fixers offer a free service while you wait, so bring your bikes for basic repairs, or they’ll tackle wobbly wheels on buggies and trolleys as well as lawnmower repairs and tool sharpening. They’ll check out portable electrical and IT items, so if your lamp or tablet’s on the blink or if you’ve got retro computers or games consoles they’ll do their best to revive them and\or offer advice. Our textile fixers offer TLC for your favourite top or bag or elderly soft toy, and if the moth’s eaten holes in your favourite sweater we’ll discuss mending options.

Please bring maximum two items and we guarantee to check out your priority item. We offer a warm welcome with free light refreshments while you wait to be matched with a fixer, and we recommend arriving as soon as possible after 10.00am to avoid the queue – see you soon!
