Our Crisis Hour started in January this year, offering immediate help to those who are unable to keep warm or need food. This year has seen the demand grow, and as a result we have now changed how we manage this service.
Crisis Hour service is daily (Monday to Friday) between the hours of 9am and 10am. No appointment is needed and if you turn up between these times you will be seen, but – we now have a maximum number of 10 places. This will help to process those who are seen on a daily basis, as efficiently as possible.
Also, for those needing help with energy, we will now need to see a picture of the remaining balance on your meter in order to process claims. Bring this picture – as claims cannot be processed without it.
We still provide our Advice Drop-in service, offering more in depth support, on Mondays and Thursdays between 10am and 1pm (appointments are required for this service and can be made by contacting the office on 02920 003132).
