New Coffee Mornings. standard

ACE is working with local GPs and health services to support local patients to get more involved in local health and wellbeing activities and services.  We are hosting two events for anyone who is interested in getting involved to find out more. Volunteers Needed For Autumn Launch of Repair Cafe at the Dusty Forge. standard

Repair Cafes are regular pop-up events run by volunteers offering a free repair service aiming to fix broken items such as: clothing, electrical, IT, bikes, toys, ornaments, and small furniture. People bringing items for repair wait in a friendly space with tea and coffee – providing an informal opportunity to talk with local volunteers and find out about other community-based projects and services in their area. Repair cafes aim to reduce waste, share skills, encourage community cohesion and help people living on the breadline save household costs.
