New Repair Cafe at Dusty Forge – needs volunteers. standard

Volunteers Needed For Autumn Launch of Repair Cafe at Dusty Forge. Repair Cafes are regular pop-up events run by volunteers offering a free repair service aiming to fix broken items such as: clothing, electrical, IT, bikes, toys, ornaments, and small furniture. People bringing items for repair are welcomed to a friendly space with tea and coffee – providing an informal opportunity to talk with local volunteers and find out about other community-based projects and services in their area. Repair cafes have spread across northern Europe recently: their key aims are to reduce waste, share skills, and encourage community cohesion.
