Volunteers from the local community will offer their time next week to kick-start the transformation of a disused gospel hall in Caerau, Cardiff as part of the Heritage Lottery funded ‘Hidden Hillfort’ project.

CAER Heritage Project, an innovative partnership between community development organisation ACE – Action in Caerau and Ely, Cardiff University, local schools and residents has been awarded a one-year Heritage Lottery development phase grant to progress plans for the CAER Hidden Hillfort project. If the development phase is successful, then this will lead to further funding from the HLF to instigate a two year project that will run between 2018-2020.
